Terms of Service

Last Updated: September 19, 2026

Welcome to InviteFor, a platform operated by UK Web Services Ltd ("we", "us", or "our"). By accessing or using our platform to create events or purchase tickets, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service.

1. Account Registration & Host Responsibilities

  • You must provide accurate information when registering.
  • As a Host, you are solely responsible for the events you create, the accuracy of your event details, and ensuring your events comply with all applicable local laws.

2. Ticketing, Payments & Stripe Connect

InviteFor provides tools for Hosts to sell tickets to their events. We act solely as a technology provider, not as the merchant of record for ticket sales.

  • Payment Processing: Card payments are processed securely via Stripe. By connecting your Stripe account, you agree to the Stripe Connected Account Agreement.
  • Platform Fees: InviteFor charges a non-refundable 1% platform fee on all paid ticket transactions processed through our system.
  • Refunds & Disputes: Because funds are routed directly to the Host's connected Stripe account, the Host is strictly responsible for issuing all guest refunds. UK Web Services Ltd is not liable for canceled events, unfulfilled promises by the Host, or ticket disputes.
  • Manual Transfers: If a Host uses the "Manual Bank Transfer" option, UK Web Services Ltd is not involved in the transaction and holds no liability for missing or unverified funds.

Manual Bank Transfers (Offline Payments)

InviteFor offers a feature allowing Hosts to share their personal or business bank details with guests via our automated email system for manual ticket payments.

  • Strictly a Messenger: UK Web Services Ltd acts solely as a messaging conduit. We do not process, touch, verify, or monitor these funds.
  • Zero Liability: We are not responsible for guests sending funds to incorrect bank accounts, or Hosts failing to honor tickets or issue refunds after receiving manual payments.
  • Assumption of Risk: Guests and Hosts assume 100% of the risk when utilizing manual bank transfers. Any disputes over offline payments must be resolved directly between the guest and the Host. We cannot intervene, refund, or mediate manual payment disputes.

3. Pro Passes & Subscriptions

To access premium features, Hosts may purchase consumable "Pro Passes" or subscribe to a monthly plan.

  • Pro Passes: Passes are consumed immediately upon being applied to an event. They are non-transferable between events and are strictly non-refundable once applied, even if the event is subsequently canceled or archived.
  • Subscriptions: Subscriptions are billed in advance on a monthly basis. You may downgrade at any time, but we do not provide cash refunds for partial months. Any prorated value will be applied as a credit to your account.
  • Chargebacks & Disputes: If a payment for a Pro Pass or Subscription is disputed, refunded, or results in a chargeback, the corresponding passes will be immediately revoked from your account. If this causes your Pro Pass balance to drop below zero, you will carry a negative balance, and your active premium events will be automatically suspended until the negative balance is cleared via a new purchase.

4. Free Tier Usage & Anti-Spam

We offer a free tier to allow hosts to test the platform and host small gatherings. To protect the platform from spam and abuse:

  • Free tier events are subject to a strict 72-hour cooling-off period. Once a free event is archived, you must wait 72 hours before launching a new free event.
  • Creating multiple accounts to bypass free tier limits or cooldown periods is strictly prohibited and will result in a permanent ban.

5. Support & Account Access

To provide technical support and ensure compliance with our policies, UK Web Services Ltd administrators have the ability to securely access ("impersonate") your account. This access is strictly logged and will only be used for troubleshooting, resolving billing issues, or investigating Trust & Safety violations.

6. Event Locking & Data Archival

To ensure system integrity, an event's date and time are permanently locked once the first guest RSVPs. To comply with GDPR, UK Web Services Ltd automatically archives events and securely deletes all personally identifiable guest data 30 days after the event concludes.

7. Governing Law

These terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
