Acceptable Use Policy

Last Updated: September 19, 2026

To ensure InviteFor remains a safe, reliable platform for everyone, all users must adhere to this Acceptable Use Policy. UK Web Services Ltd reserves the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these rules without prior notice or refund.

1. Prohibited Events

You may not use InviteFor to organize, ticket, or promote events that:

  • Are illegal under the laws of the United Kingdom or the jurisdiction where the event takes place.
  • Promote violence, hate speech, terrorism, or discrimination based on race, religion, sexual orientation, or gender.
  • Involve the sale or distribution of illegal drugs, contraband, or unlicensed firearms.
  • Are fraudulent, deceptive, or structured as pyramid schemes or unauthorized lotteries.
  • Are designed to facilitate money laundering, terror financing, or the evasion of financial sanctions.

2. Email & Spam Abuse

InviteFor facilitates transactional emails (like digital tickets and waitlist promotions). You agree that:

  • You will not use our platform to send unsolicited commercial marketing emails (Spam).
  • You will not upload purchased or scraped email lists.
  • You will only send invitations to individuals who reasonably expect to hear from you.

Excessive spam reports or bounces originating from your events will result in immediate suspension of your email sending privileges.

3. Financial Integrity & Ticketing Fraud

As a host accepting payments via Stripe Connect or Manual Bank Transfers, you must maintain a high standard of financial integrity. You may not:

  • Use your own credit cards to buy tickets to your own events to artificially inflate numbers or "cash out" balances.
  • Engage in "friendly fraud" (purchasing platform upgrades and subsequently issuing unauthorized chargebacks through your bank).
  • Use the platform to sell tickets for an event you have no intention of actually hosting (phantom events).

Manual Payment Abuse

Hosts utilizing the Manual Bank Transfer feature must fulfill all ticket obligations once a guest transfers funds. Using this feature to collect offline funds without providing entry to a legitimate event is considered fraud. Verified reports of guests paying your provided bank details and being denied promised entry will result in a permanent ban and potential reporting to financial authorities.

We monitor refund and dispute rates. Excessive chargebacks on your Stripe Connect account will result in the immediate suspension of your events and potential termination of your InviteFor account.

4. Platform Security

Users must not attempt to bypass our payment gateways, reverse-engineer our QR scanning algorithms, or artificially inflate RSVP capacities using automated bots or scripts.
